WHO WE ARE
Local knowledge.
Shared compassion.
The Masurian Food Bank — Mazurski Bank Żywności Fundacja IC — is a non-profit foundation with public benefit status in Poland.
Based in the Pisz area, we serve Masuria, a region of lakes and small towns in north-eastern Poland. We rescue food from going to waste and help it reach people who need it.
We work with food producers, shops, volunteers and local organisations. We also teach practical ways to reduce food waste.
You make this help possible. We organise the work that gets it there.
Collect food
Rescue good food from going to waste.
Store it safely
Keep food in good condition until it is needed.
Deliver help
Get food to people and families facing hardship.
WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
Food is a daily need.
So is support.
For people facing hardship, access to food can bring relief to an uncertain day. Your regular support helps us organise food collections, storage and distribution in Masuria.
Behind every person waiting for food is a different story. Together, we can respond with practical help and respect.
Even donated food needs transport, storage and people to handle it. Your support helps make that journey possible.

MEET WOJTEK
A little support.
A little less loneliness.
Wojtek lives alone in Pisz. He spent many years caring for his ill parents. After they died, he also lost his sister, who had supported him.
Without that support, he searched market stalls for anything he could turn into a meal.
Today, Wojtek receives food through the Masurian Food Bank. He also helps others, sharing what he has and supporting older people.
“It makes me feel good to help. Even when I have nothing.”
Wojtek, translated from a conversation recorded in Polish.
Your support helps us keep reaching people like Wojtek with food and care.
